Turn your tracking page into a revenue channel
Last updated July 1, 2026
Most stores treat order tracking as a cost center: a support tool that exists to answer “where is my order?”. But your tracking page is something rarer — a page your existing customers visit repeatedly, voluntarily, while they’re excited about a purchase. Parcel Track is built to turn that attention into repeat revenue.
Why the tracking page converts
A customer typically checks their shipment several times between purchase and delivery. That makes the tracking page one of the most-visited post-purchase touchpoints in your store — often getting more repeat visits per order than any marketing email.
Three things make this traffic unusually valuable:
- They’re proven buyers. Everyone on this page has already trusted you with an order.
- They’re in a positive state. Anticipating a delivery is one of the best moods a shopper can be in.
- It costs you nothing. Unlike ads or email campaigns, these visits happen on their own.
If those visits land on a bare carrier website, that value goes to waste. Hosted on your own domain at yourstore.com/apps/parcel-track, your tracking page keeps every visit inside your store — one click from your catalog.
Add product recommendations to the tracking page
Parcel Track can display a product recommendation block directly on the tracking page, below the shipment timeline.
- In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Parcel Track → Tracking Page.
- Open the Product recommendations section and toggle it on.
- Choose how products are selected and how many to display.
- Click Save, then open your tracking page to preview the block.
For selection strategies and layout options, see the full guide: product recommendations on the tracking page.
Tip: Recommendations related to what the customer just bought consistently outperform generic bestsellers — accessories, refills, and complementary items are natural “while you wait” purchases.
Put offers in your shipping notification emails
Shipping notifications are the most-opened emails a store sends — customers actively want them. Parcel Track sends automated emails at each delivery milestone (shipped, in transit, out for delivery, delivered), and each template can carry more than just status:
- A discount block with a coupon code for the next order — the “Delivered” email is a natural moment for a thank-you offer.
- Product recommendations, mirroring the tracking page block.
- Your branding and a prominent link back to your store.
Set this up under Apps → Parcel Track → Notifications. See customize notifications for template editing, and consider a custom sending domain so offers arrive from your own brand’s address.
Note: One well-placed offer per email outperforms a cluttered template. Lead with the shipment status — that’s why the email gets opened — and let the offer ride along underneath.
Measure what it earns
Don’t guess whether this works — measure it. The app’s Analytics section shows how your tracking page performs as a sales channel: page visits, clicks on recommended products, and the revenue generated from tracking page sessions.
Review it in tracking page analytics, and check notifications analytics to see open and click rates on your milestone emails.
Quick-start checklist
- Enable product recommendations on the tracking page.
- Add a discount code to your “Delivered” notification email.
- Make sure the tracking page is easy to find — see add the tracking page to your storefront.
- After two weeks, review tracking page analytics and iterate.
At first 50 orders free and $0.04 per order after that, a single extra sale from the tracking page typically pays for months of usage. Questions about setup? Email support@parcel-track.com.
