Add the tracking page to your storefront in 1 minute
Last updated July 1, 2026
Your Parcel Track tracking page lives on your own store domain — by default at yourstore.com/apps/parcel-track. Getting it in front of customers takes two quick steps: enable the page in the app, then add a link to it in your store’s navigation menu.
Step 1: Enable the tracking page
- In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → Parcel Track.
- Open the Tracking Page section in the left navigation.
- Toggle the tracking page to Enabled.
- (Optional) Adjust the branding — logo, colors, and layout — so the page matches your storefront. You can fine-tune everything later, so don’t feel you need to perfect it now.
- Click Save.
Your tracking page is now live at yourstore.com/apps/parcel-track. It works immediately — the remaining steps just make it easy for customers to find.
Step 2: Add the page to your store navigation
Customers usually look for tracking in your header or footer menu. Here’s how to add it:
- In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Navigation.
- Open the menu you want to use — typically Main menu (header) or Footer menu.
- Click Add menu item.
- In the Name field, enter something clear like
Track Your Order. - In the Link field, paste your tracking page path:
/apps/parcel-track. - Click Add, then Save menu.
Tip: Many stores add the link to both the main menu and the footer. Post-purchase visitors scan the footer first, while first-time buyers checking your legitimacy often look in the header — covering both costs nothing.
Step 3: Verify it works
- Open your storefront in a new browser tab.
- Click your new Track Your Order menu item.
- Confirm the tracking page loads with your branding and shows the order lookup form.
- If you have a recent fulfilled order, enter its order number and email (or its tracking number) to confirm live tracking results appear.
If the page loads but a specific order isn’t found, see why an order can’t be found.
Changing the URL later
Prefer a different address, like yourstore.com/apps/track? You can change the URL suffix at any time without breaking the page — see change your tracking page URL.
Other ways to link the page
Adding the menu item is the fastest route, but you can surface the tracking page anywhere customers expect it:
- Shopify order emails — point Shopify’s built-in shipping confirmation emails to your branded page instead of the carrier’s site. See add your tracking link to Shopify emails.
- Any page or blog post — add a lookup form directly to an existing page with the order lookup widget.
- Custom links or buttons — create your own link anywhere in your theme; see create a tracking link via HTML code.
Note: Parcel Track’s own notification emails link to your tracking page automatically — no setup required there. Learn more in how notifications work.
That’s it — your customers can now track every order without ever leaving your store. If anything doesn’t look right, email us at support@parcel-track.com and we’ll help you get set up.
